Join your host Andrew Tisser and guest Dr. Heather Hammerstedt as they talk about circadian rhythm, personal calendars, and the sustainable health transformation that starts with food. For Dr. Heather, everything begins with what you eat. That’s why in this episode, she explains the proper way of seeing self-care for doctors. Dr. Heather emphasizes that for doctors to be more responsible for their well-being and enhance their ability to take care of others, self-care should be seen as an essential and not indulgence. She believes understanding how the brain and body works is vital when talking about sustainable health change. To achieve that healthy body and mind, for her, mindfulness over the actions you’re taking and the thoughts you’re holding as physicians should be a conscious effort.
In this episode you will learn:
- How do we get back to a sustainable health change?
- The concept of self-care for doctors.
- On why, when, and what we’re eating.
- The approach to eating and working.
- Wholist – Using the evidence of food for life-changing health transformations.

At this point, she’s put in 1000s of hours of deep diving into food and weight and mindset to put together a (kick a**) lifestyle transformation blueprint to get women to long-term health without products or BS, with real food and lifelong SKILLS for sustainable health futures… with a side effect of weight wellness.
Her days are spent in Idaho skiing and rafting and playing outside with her two little crazy boys, two furry chocolate dog children, a very entertaining husband.
