Andrew Wilner, MD
Andrew Nathan Wilner, MD, FACP, FAAN, is a board-certified internist, neurologist, and epilepsy specialist. In 1982, he discovered that locum tenens was the perfect solution to achieve work/life balance as a physician and writer. Dr. Wilner has practiced locum tenens in outpatient, inpatient, academic and community settings. He is a prolific medical journalist and author of four books, including “Bullets and Brains” and “The Locum Life: A Physician’s Guide to Locum Tenens.” Dr. Wilner is Associate Professor of Neurology at the University of Tennessee Health Science Center, Memphis, TN. He hosts the biweekly podcast “The Art of Medicine with Dr. Andrew Wilner” and the YouTube channel “Underwater with Dr. Andrew.”
